Strengthened Cooperation Discussed With World Bank
Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan met with World Bank Executive Director Frank Heemskerk.
Pleased with the current pace of interaction with the World Bank, Tigran Sargsyan expressed the hope that the cooperation will expand and strengthen ahead.
In this context, the parties have discussed progress and continuity in various World Bank-supported Armenia projects, including the ones underway in agriculture, public sector and local self-government.
At the request of the World Bank’s Executive Director, the Prime Minister briefed him on Armenia’s economic position, the pace of reforms and future action.
Thankful for quite a meaningful discourse, Frank Heemskerk promised to introduce the Government’s vision of expanded interaction to the World Bank’s management for consideration.
