Modern In-Patient Oncology Center To Be Founded In Armenia
Attended by Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan, the government of the Republic of Armenia and Global Medical Solutions CJSC signed an agreement to implement a modern in-patient oncology center investment program in Armenia.
For the Government, the document was signed by Minister of Economy Vahram Avanesyan and Deputy Minister of Healthcare Vahan Poghosyan, and by President and Managing Director Haig S. Bagerdjian on behalf of Global Medical Solutions CJSC.
Approved at today’s Cabinet sitting, the investment program is expected to set up an in-patient oncology center to enable the diagnosis and treatment of cancer diseases in line with the international standards.
Global Medical Solutions CJSC is going to invest USD12-14 million in the proposed state-of-the-art project that will result in at least 150 medical beds and some 200 new jobs.
The Government will contribute a 1ha-wide plot of land currently belonging to A. I. Alikhanian National Scientific Laboratory NPO.
