Today the interagency commission for the coordination of preparations for participation in the 49th session of the UN commission on women's status to be held next March in New York has held a meeting, which was chaired by RA Prime Minister Andranik Margaryan.


Discussed was the progress in the drafting of the Pekin 10 national report which was supposed to be the summary of the latest developments in the field of women's issues.


RA Minister of Labor and Social Security Aghvan Vardanyan, deputy chairman of the commission, reported that better efforts in this area had been employed following "Pekin 5: Women 2000
