Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan Meets Senior Russian Officials
Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan met today with RF First Deputy Prime Minister Igor Shuvalov and Deputy Prime Minister Arkady Dvorkovich in Moscow.
The working meeting agenda featured those arrangements reached during the latest meeting between Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan and RF President Vladimir Putin. The parties came to an agreement over the steps to take to implement the agenda items.
In addition to First Deputy Prime Minister Igor Shuvalov, the Russian side was represented by Deputy Prime Minister Arkady Dvorkovich, other dignitaries. The working group led by Tigran Sargsyan comprised the following officials: Armenian Ambassador to the Russian Federation Oleg Yesayan, First Deputy Head of Presidential Administration Vardan Aramyan, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Shavarsh Kocharyan, First Deputy Minister of Economy Karine Minasyan, Deputy Minister of Finance Suren Karayan, Deputy Minister of Energy Joseph Isayan, other officials.
Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan next met with Eurasian Economic Commission Board Chairman Viktor Khristenko to discuss the pace of the activities carried out under the Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation signed between Armenia and the Customs Union.
The Prime Minister also visited the Holy Transfiguration Mother Cathedral of Moscow, called at Armenia’s permanent stand at the All-Russian Exhibition Center to get familiar with the ongoing activities.
