PM Attends Groundbreaking Ceremony For Srbots Targmanchats Church
Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan attended today a groundbreaking ceremony for Srbots Targmanchats (Holy Translators) Church in AYB educational campus. The church is built on charitable funds. Construction is to be complete in two years.
Conceived by architect Eric Ohanyan, the church is designed in the form of “people – books.” They are personalized “living books,” each of which represents one of the Holy Translators. The church building will symbolize those figures with considerable written heritage which underlies the Armenian identity and spiritual consciousness of the Armenians. A theological library will be operational on the ground floor of the church.
