The Premier first called at the Media Center, which is a non-formal learning and management center that includes two clubs, has media lounges to host weekly seminars. Tigran Sargsyan was introduced to mskh.am educational website, the associate websites and magazines.

The head of government next visited the junior and senior schools of art, the theater and the dance club. The junior school of arts is administering Saturday kindergarten classes and weekly seminars for junior school and pre-kindergarten teachers.

At a briefing that followed, Tigran Sargsyan highlighted the need for exchange of know-how: “We will organize exchanges of ideas and debates, introducing a methodology for the best educational system, discuss their relative advantages, strengths and weaknesses. This is an incentive for us to step up the educational reform to accept such successful institutions as will succeed in having the parents' confidence.”

Stressing the importance of the children’s self-expression methodology, the Premier stated on part, “We need to provide a variety of educational systems and give our talented teachers the opportunity of self-expression. We are studying this educational institution’s experience to create such an environment where our children can display their skills and talents. It is important for the teachers to be ready to work in such an environment. Indeed, I would like my own children to study in an environment like this, because it provides a variety of unique thinking and creative approaches.”

The Prime Minister next visited the Youth Clubs, which are arranged in gymnastics education and dance classes, as well as educational seminars on culinary arts schools.

Tigran Sargsyan also attended a concert organized by the students of the educational institution. Addressing the audience in a greeting speech, the Prime Minister appreciated the institution’s role as an important factor in the upbringing of children.

During the round table on educational curricula, the students briefed the head of government on the ongoing cooperation and the joint projects implemented with the Armenian ministries, educational institutions, private companies, Artsakh Ministry of Education and Science, as well as with Georgian schools.

In conclusion, Tigran Sargsyan thanked the students on behalf of his delegation for a warm welcome: “Our aim was to get a first-hand idea of your institution and unfold a professional discussion at the Government on how to reform the education system. Today there are different approaches to what should be the secondary educational system, and which of the proposed models is more acceptable to us.”

The Prime Minister said that major changes are taking place in the educational systems worldwide and only those nations are developing faster that provide the best educational system. He thanked for the opportunity to learn about the programs and emphasized that a comparative analysis and the comparison of different experiences will enable meaningful discussions to make the right decisions.
