New Year, Christmas-Dated Congratulatory Remarks By Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan
“Dear compatriots,
2013 is going out and we all are going to see in the year 2014. All the Cabinet members are visiting today Armenia’s military units to wish the troops a merry Christmas and a happy New Year. Under the leadership of the Supreme Commander, we have spared no effort to enhance our troops’ fighting capacity and combat skills in 2013.
There is no problem that we cannot solve together, just need to believe. First of all, I would like to note that thanks to our soldiers, we have a reliably protected and secure Armenia. On the other hand, we are well aware that they are the pledge of our bright future.
2013 was full of challenges. We succeeded in industry, information technologies, agriculture and tourism. Indeed, there were also some shortfalls. For example, we are not at all pleased with the pace of growth in construction. At the same time, I would like to note that we need a little more trust and mutual respect, if we are to succeed.
Today - on New Year’s Eve - as we are summing up the year 2013, I wish we were filled with optimism, since it may inspire us ahead to overcome new challenges. I wish you peace, solidarity and love in your families. God bless us.
