Today the Commission for Coordination of Charitable Programs under RA government has held a meeting presided by commission chairman V. Movsisyan.
The meeting agenda featured 4 projects. In particular, the commission has approved the following projects: manufacture and delivery of school furniture to school No. 29 of Gyumri as financed by the Armenia all-Armenian Fund, installation of gas at schools No. 29 and No. 32 in Gyumri, provision of central heating to and reconstruction of the main building of the secondary school in Pokr Sariar village of Shirak Marz by Kamar charity and a sub-contract under the Assistance to the Shirak Marz Center for Sound Mental Development Project, including the purchase and free delivery of tables and beds. The meeting has also approved a project for the supply of water and central heating to kindergarten No. 181 and a sub-contract under the project for the construction of a charitable hospital in Gyumri as approved by decision M-288-A of August 8, 2003 of the governmental commission for coordination of charitable programs.
Computers and support equipment are supposed to be purchased under a World Vision International-funded program, which was approved by Commission decision M-223-A of June 18 2004.
Also, the meeting discussed and approved a number of sub-contracts under import programs for the goods addressed to RA Ministry of Health Care, The Blessed Virgin Medical Center CJSC and Fur Armenien relief fund of the Berlin office of Red Cross.
