RA Police Report Back 2013 Activities










Chaired by Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan, the Government of Armenia heard today the Police report on 2013 first half-year activities and implementation of government program priorities.

Police Chief Vladimir Gasparyan reported back the steps and reforms undertaken in the period under review to implement the government program and priorities for 2013. He introduced the details of the work performed toward the implementation of the system of video surveillance in public places and the acquisition of necessary devices, continuous development of technical equipment in the field of road traffic safety, improving the quality of services provided to the population in the areas of traffic police.

The Police Chief provided detailed information on the 2014 program of activities, which features the following priorities: recording and accounting of vehicles in Kotayk and Tavush marzes of Armenia, improving the delivery of driving licenses and introducing a model of patrol service.
