The Government of the Republic of Armenia

Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan received Eurasian Economic Commission Board Member-Minister Timur Suleymenov who is responsible for coordination of economic and financial policy affairs.

The parties have discussed Customs Union accession roadmap implementation working groups’ activities. In particular, views were exchanged on issues related to services and investment, taxation and customs policies, customs duties and intellectual property.

After summarizing the progress made so far, the interlocutors expressed readiness to continue consultations in order to work out a coordinated approach to the action plan.

The working groups are expected to complete their mission late this March. Timur Suleymenov thanked the Government for effective cooperation and good organization of working group activities.
