Anti-tuberculosis effort to increase in efficiency Labor market will grow in competitiveness
The Government’s March 27 meeting renamed the National Tuberculosis Control Office SNCO into National Anti-Tuberculosis Center SNCO, which in turn will be merged with the Ministry of Health-affiliated Republican TB Dispensary CJSC.
The terms of reference of the newly established entity cover both the implementation of those measures envisaged under the National Tuberculosis Control Program and the provision of medical services. The new scheme is supposed to enhance the quality of healthcare services, improve the efficiency in the use of public funds.
Through another decision, the meeting extended the service limit of 65 years, currently applicable in healthcare institutions, to the managers of fully State-owned joint-stock companies, demonstrating thus a uniform approach in search of higher labor market competitiveness.
