Head of Russian Government Dmitry Medvedev sent a congratulatory message to Hovik Abrahamyan on his appointment as Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, which states:

“Dear Hovik Argamovich,

I am congratulating you on your appointment as Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia.

Russia and Armenia are bound by relationship of alliance and strategic partnership based on the traditions of friendship between our peoples.

I am convinced that the further development of bilateral cooperation in trade and economic, investment, scientific-technical and other areas, the implementation of new large-scale joint projects, Armenian partners’ full-scale adherence to the Eurasian integration process are in the best interest of our States.

I am ready to work with you in a constructive manner over all topical issues of cooperation between the governments of Russia and Armenia.
