Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan’s Message On International Dance Day
Honorable dancing art figures, we know that starting 1982, April 29 is marked as the International Dance Day and the professional holiday of dancers around the world. This holiday day is an opportunity to once again summarize and evaluate the work done in the field of dancing, remember the outstanding figures and reflect on their artistic legacy.
Master Komitas used to say: “Each dance reflects the inherent character of a nation, especially its moral traditions and the degree of civilization.”
Dance is especially important to our culture, as it reflects our daily life, feelings, our love for homeland and national traditions. In this regard, great is your contribution and devotion, for which I am grateful to you.
Reiterating my congratulations on your professional holiday, I wish you every success and infinite joy in your creative activity.
