Hovik Abrahamyan, Dmitry Medvedev Meet in Minsk
A bilateral meeting was held today between Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan and RF Premier Dmitry Medvedev in Minsk, Belarus.
Highly appreciative of the present level of the Armenian-Russian strategic partnership, the two heads of government discussed a wide range of issues related to cooperation between the two allied countries.
The parties noted the importance of successful implementation of the envisaged joint Armenian-Russian programs in the military-political, economic, cultural, humanitarian and other spheres. They stressed the need to ensure continuity in the efforts toward the development of new projects.
Hovik Abrahamyan and Dmitry Medvedev also touched upon the process of Armenia’s accession to the Customs Union. The heads of government agreed to continue bilateral meetings to discuss programs and issues related to the Armenian-Russian relationship.
The meeting with the Head of Russian Government ended Hovik Abrahamyan’s working visit to the Republic of Belarus.
