PM Receives Iranian Ambassador



Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan received IRI Ambassador to Armenia Mohammad Reyisi.

The Prime Minister highlighted the further development and expansion of relations with neighboring Iran, strengthening cooperation in various fields. “My goal is to consistently give effect to all those agreements reached with Iran and develop new programs of cooperation. I am sure we will have great achievements in this direction,” the Prime Minister said.

Mohammad Reyisi congratulated Hovik Abrahamyan on assuming office and conveyed warm greetings on behalf of the Iranian First Vice President. “Pleased with your appointment, we are confident that new development will be recorded in the between Iran and Armenia,” the Ambassador said addressing the Prime Minister.

According to Mohammad Reyisi, the Iranian authorities are interested in expanding and deepening cooperation with Armenia. Hovik Abrahamyan and Mohammad Reyisi discussed various issues pertaining to bilateral relations.
