The Government of the Republic of Armenia

Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan called a consultative meeting on Funded Pension law, which was attended by representatives from the parliamentary factions of the Republican Party of Armenia, the Prosperous Armenia Party, the Rule of Law Party and the Armenian Revolutionary Federation.

The meeting looked into the proposed amendments to the Funded Pension law to bring the latter into conformity with the Constitutional Court’s ruling of April 2, 2014.

The MPs in attendance expressed their position on the amendments and came up with corresponding recommendations.

The head of government said to be prepared to continue the consultations in the given format in an effort to find a comprehensive solution to the problem and give effect to the pension reform.
