Hovik Abrahamyan: Government will focus on school and education
Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan received representatives of “School-Centers Union” legal entities’ association, led by National Assembly member, Association President Ruzanna Muradyan.
The union members introduced their ongoing activities aimed at promoting the educational system through better use of the potential available in public non-commercial educational institutions, training of teachers, as well as various projects targeting the students’ national consciousness. The Association is going to join European Teachers’ Union, which will contribute to the development of the Association.
Welcoming the Association’s activities, Hovik Abrahamyan said the Government will focus on school and education.
“The Government’s programs will be aimed at shaping a high-quality educational system. In this respect, we are ready to draw upon your know-how in implementing the educational reform,” the Prime Minister said.
The head of government stressed that the Government will increase the funds spent on teacher-training and school-building from year to year.
At the same time, the Premier assured of his government’s support for the Association’s programs and undertakings.
