Prime Minister Visits New Office of State Committee of Real Estate Cadastre
Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan visited the newly opened Kentron service center of State Committee of Real Estate Cadastre. Operational since October 20, 2014, this office is a merger of Kentron and Erebuni service offices.
Prime Minister Abrahamyan toured the premises getting acquainted with the working conditions and facilities. The Premier talked to the staff in exercise of their duties and the citizens in attendance to get a first-hand view of the quality and status of services.
At a briefing with reporters, Hovik Abrahamyan appreciated the reforms implemented by the State Committee of Real Estate Cadastre, pointed to the importance of the new electronic system that is meant to help reduce corruption risks.
“Recent surveys have revealed that citizens show less discontent with the services provided by the State Committee of Real State Cadastre. Reforms must be continued, and the government will be a consistent in ensuring transparency and reducing the scope of citizen-staff contacts. All transactions carried out by our citizens should be easy and accessible,” the head of government said.
As next steps, the Prime Minister pointed to the need for continued implementation of the new electronic system and the organization of work on the one-stop-shop principle.
The newly opened service office of the State Committee of Real Estate Cadastre is equipped with modern technology. Citizens are provided free consultations, electronic queue management and payment systems are introduced, a new system of evaluation and monitoring of service quality, facilities are provided for free movement of persons with disabilities.
A separate desk is available to provide standalone services to the members of killed servicemen, war veterans, disabled persons, as well as people with similar status established by law.
