Prime Minister Introduced to Barva Innovation Center’s Production Capacity
Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan visited Barva Innovation Research Center in Talin town of Aragatsotn Marz. The Center specializes in the design and production of innovative and high-tech equipment for various sectors of the economy (agriculture, energy).
The Premier toured the Center to get a first-hand view of the capacity of different units and manufactured equipment, including Zenit anti-hail stations (more efficient and affordable as compared with similar foreign anti-hail stations), the anti-frost system (frost protection and greenhouse heating) and rain-catalyst systems (which have no analogues in the world), as well as the solar, biomass and pirogas (technology for producing high-calorific gas from biomass) systems.
Then, a consultation was held under the chairmanship of the Head of Government, at which Barva President Aram Vardanyan presented the Center’s capacity, exports volume, ongoing and projected activities.
Hovik Abrahamyan noted that the Government attaches great importance to innovative technology-based production facilities and is prepared to back the implementation of prospective programs in this field.
According to the Prime Minister, the biofuel-based electricity and gas production, rain-catalyst and anti-hail systems have serious export potential as they can be effectively used both at home and abroad.
Welcoming the application of innovative technologies in the manufacturing process through the use of local knowledge and production capacity, Prime Minister Abrahamyan instructed the Ministry of Economy to collaborate with Barva innovation center with a view to working out a sales and exports development program.
