Three documents signed between the Government of the Republic of Armenia and the European Union
Attended by Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan, three documents were signed in the Office of Government: a loan agreement of euro 10 million for the Caucasus Transmission Network project, which was signed by RA Finance Minister Gagik Khachatryan and Vice President of the European Investment Bank Wilhelm Molterer; a memorandum of understanding for the Caucasus Transmission Network project, which was signed by RA Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Yervand Zakharyan and Head of EU Delegation to Armenia Traian Hristea, Vice President of the European Investment Bank Wilhelm Molterer, Coordinator of KfW Development Bank’s Energy and Transport Programs Ian Bloom, as well as the investment agreement on Armenia’s accession to the Eastern Europe Energy Efficiency and Environmental Partnership, which was signed by RA Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Yervand Zakharyan and E5R Fund Manager for the EBRD Andres Land.
Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan welcomed the signing of the documents and expressed confidence that they will play a significant role and make a valuable contribution both in terms of EU-Armenia relations and the development of Armenia’s economy.
