Armenia Development Fund Board of Trustees Holds First Meeting
Chaired by Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan, the Armenia Development Fund (ADF) Board of Trustees held its first meeting in the Office of Government.
Note that the Fund was established under a government resolution adopted on December 18, 2014, following the merger of the Industrial Development Fund and the National Competitiveness Foundation of Armenia.
According to the agenda, the meeting reviewed and approved by the Fund’s organizational structure, staffing, rules of procedures, as well as the budget and remuneration of employees for 2015.
Summing up the exchange of ideas, the Prime Minister instructed to revise and finalize the documents, account taken of those observations and recommendations voiced at the meeting.
The Board approved the proposed amendment to the Charter and the property management procedures.
By absolute majority of votes, the Board named acting executive director Arman Khachatryan to the post of ADF Executive Director.
The posts of acting directors for investment, tourism and exports were filled by Avetik Hovhannisyan, Hayk Mirzoyan and Tigran Karapetyan respectively.
