Armenia Prime Minister meets face to face with Belarus Prime Minister
On May 28, the Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan-led government delegation arrived in the Republic of Kazakhstan on a working visit to participate in the meetings of the CIS Council of Heads of Government and the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council.
Later the same day, Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan held private talks with Belarus Prime Minister Andrei Kobyakov in Burabai.
The prime ministers of the two countries discussed a number of issues relating to the deepening of the Armenian-Belarusian economic cooperation. They noted the importance of developing and deepening cooperation in different areas. The two sides noted with satisfaction that bilateral cooperation has intensified significantly in recent years.
The prime ministers of Armenia and Belarus praised the current level of relations and pointed to the need for further development of economic relations and increased trade turnover.
During the meeting, Prime Ministers Abrahamyan and Kobyakov took the opportunity to discuss several issues of expanding cooperation on both bilateral level and within the framework of the CIS and EAEC.
