PM Holds Farewell Meeting with German Ambassador
Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federal Republic of Germany to the Republic of Armenia Reiner Morell who is completing his diplomatic mission in our country.
Thanking the Ambassador for close collaboration and the efforts made during his diplomatic mission, the Premier wished him every success in future endeavors.
Stressing that Germany is an important partner for Armenia, Hovik Abrahamyan highly appreciated the Ambassador’s personal contribution to the strengthening and deepening of the Armenian-German relations.
In turn, Reiner Morell thanked the Premier for constructive cooperation both as National Assembly Speaker and Prime Minister. He described as fruitful and effective his tenure in Armenia. The Ambassador assured that he will continue to be a friend of Armenia and will keep in touch with our country and people.
The diplomat noted that Germany attaches importance to cooperation with Armenia and expressed confidence that the Armenian-German relations will develop dynamically.
The parties took the opportunity to exchange views on the prospects of bilateral cooperation, the furtherance of EU-Armenia relations and the ongoing joint projects.
