Tax Code Reform Discussions Continue
Chaired by Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan, a consultative meeting on tax legislation reform was held in the Office of Government, attended by the heads of stakeholder agencies.
In particular, the meeting discussed issues related to long-term and sustainable economic growth, export promotion, business environment, competitiveness, prospects for attraction of investment. During the exchange of views that followed, the speakers came up with several proposals on per-sector amendments and relevant recommendations.
Summing up the meeting, the Prime Minister stressed the reform’s importance from the perspective of ensuring long-term and sustainable economic growth and instructed the heads of stakeholder agencies to continue work in this direction.
