PM Receives Newly Appointed Turkmenistan Ambassador
Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan received newly appointed Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Armenia Muhammetniyaz Mashalov.
The Prime Minister congratulated the Ambassador on appointment and wished him every success in his diplomatic mission. Highly appreciative of the present status of Armenia- Turkmenistan interstate relations, Hovik Abrahamyan expressed confidence that the Ambassador will contribute to the further expansion and strengthening of relations in political, economic, scientific, cultural, humanitarian and other fields.
Thankful for the reception, Ambassador Mashalov assured of his readiness to spare no effort to expand bilateral cooperation and strengthen relations in different fields of activity.
The parties deemed it necessary to intensify economic ties by making a better use of existing potentialities. The role of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission was emphasized in this regard.
During the meeting, the interlocutors took the opportunity to discuss other issues of mutual interest.
