PM visits Ararat Marz, takes mote of farmers’ grapes harvest-related concerns
Accompanied by Minister of Territorial Administration and Emergency Situations Armen Yeritsyan and Minister of Agriculture Sergo Karapetyan, Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan traveled today to Ararat Marz. The Premier met with the local farmer to listen to their grapes harvest-related concerns.
Noting that a bumper crop is available this year, the Premier said the Government will do everything to ensure that the whole amount of grapes is collected in time.
Ararat Marz Governor Rubik Abrahamyan was told to work with the community heads in order to draw up a list of how much of crop is available in individual communities and organize activities in accordance with the established timetable.
The Head of Government called at the local processing entities to get acquainted with the ongoing activities. At a meeting held with the heads of processing companies and community leaders at Ararat Marz administration, Hovik Abrahamyan pointed to the importance of close cooperation in terms of organizing the purveyances at the highest level and in a timely manner.
