The Prime Minister delivered a congratulatory speech, in which he stated in part, “On behalf of the Government of the Republic of Armenia and my own behalf, I cordially congratulate you on the Day of Investigation Committees Staff, celebrated for the first time in our country. On September 25, 2015, the Government decided that October 8 should be marked as the professional holiday of Investigation Committee staff. The date was appointed based on the fact that the Investigation Committee of the Republic of Armenia was formed this very day a year ago,

“Today as ever new challenges are emerging both ay home and abroad, our investigators’ objective, responsible and dedicated work becomes of paramount importance for our citizens to live and work in safe and secure conditions. I am confident that your professionalism, integrity and strong principles will help you achieve that goal,” Hovik Abrahamyan said.

The Prime Minister assured that the Government will provide all the necessary conditions and opportunities for the Committee to carry out their duties properly.

On the occasion of Investigative Committee Officer’s Day, Deputy Head of Investigation Committee, Colonel of Justice Arthur Ghambaryan and Deputy Head of Investigation Committee, Head of Military-Criminal Investigation Department, Colonel of Justice Hayk Grigoryan were awarded the Prime Minister’s commemorative medal, while Deputy Chief of Investigative Committee Internal Security Department, Major of Justice Tigrna Tamamyan was presented with the Prime Minister’s Diploma.
