PM Visits Cigaron Company
Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan visited today Cigaron Ltd headquarters. The Head of Government toured the factory and the affiliated laboratory observing the production process and investment projects.
The Prime Minister was told that after being re-launched in 2013, the company is planning to expand production capacity and export volumes by introducing new technologies and enhancing product quality. Cigaron provides for some 250 jobs. Around 80 percent of the output is exported to the USA, CIS and European countries.
PM Abrahamyan was present at the opening of ARSSI Alliance new enterprise, which will deal with the production of vodka. The Prime Minister was informed that USD 1 million has been invested, leading to the creation of jobs, which are expected to reach 70 in the course of a year. On an annual basis it is expected to produce 3-5 million bottles of vodka, most of which will be exported to the USA, European and some Asian countries.
