PM Attends Opening of Young Artists’ Exposition
Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan participated in the opening of the exhibition of works by young artists referred to as “A piece of fire” at the Painters’ Union of Armenia, organized by the Youth Foundation of Armenia and the Student Council of the Academy of Fine Arts in Yerevan.
The Head of Government got acquainted with the works on display, authored by the students of the Academy of Fine Arts in Yerevan. The exhibition marks the launch of events dedicated to the World Youth Day as celebrated on November 10, and the International Students Day, celebrated on November 17.
The Premier praised the works and the creativity of young artists. Welcoming the idea of the exhibition, Hovik Abrahamyan stressed that the Government stands by the youth and will continue to support young talents in getting new knowledge and mastering professional skills.
Fine Arts Academy Rector Aram Isabekyan thanked the Prime Minister for thoughtfulness and support, as well as for assistance in the reconstruction of the conference hall of the Academy.
In turn, Coordinator of the Board of Trustees of the YFA Karen Avagyan said the annual exhibition has a special role to play in the artistic life of young people and bears a professional character. He noted that events like that help identify young talents and introduce them to the public.
