PM Attends Housewarming Ceremony in Tsakhkahovit
On December 31, 2015, Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan paid a working visit to Aragatsotn Marz of Armenia.
The Prime Minister first called at Tsakhkahovit community where a completely renovated apartment building had been commissioned. 40 families were celebrating a housewarming ceremony in the completely refurbished building, which was nearly destroyed in the 1988 earthquake.
The Premier toured the building inspecting the amenities. Hovik Abrahamyan congratulated the residents on housewarming and the holiday season, wishing them family warmth, happiness and health.
The residents thanked the country’s leadership for completing the project successfully and solving their housing problems, owing to which they can celebrate the New Year in their own homes.
Taking the opportunity, a number of Tsakhkahovit-based large families applied to the Prime Minister with a housing request. The Head of Government instructed the local authorities to provide them with the spare premises available in the building.
The Prime Minister next visited Kuchak community to meet with the local population and answer their questions. The inhabitants of Kuchak community asked for the Prime Minister’s support in renovating the community kindergarten and providing the local school with sports equipment.
Hovik Abrahamyan told Minister of Territorial Administration and Emergency Situations Armen Yeritsyan and Aragatsotn Governor Sargis Sahakyan to submit a cost estimates for the reconstruction of the kindergarten, after which the program will be implemented. As to the supply of sports equipment for the local school, the Prime Minister assured that the matter will soon be settled. Hovik Abrahamyan took the opportunity to extend his Season’s wishes to Kuchak inhabitants.
The Premier said the Government will do its utmost to solve the existing problems step by step. As he noted, the Government will implement a series of infrastructure and economic development projects to help enhance people’s well-being and create new jobs.
Kuchak inhabitants thanked the Premier for visiting them and giving a speedy solution to their problems on New Year’s Eve.
