North-South Road Corridor, Sustainable Urban Development Investment, Northern Corridor Modernization Programs Governing Council Holds Regular Meeting
Chaired by Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan, the North-South Road Corridor, Sustainable Urban Development Investment and Northern Corridor Modernization Programs Governing Council met today in the Office of Government.
The meeting discussed and approved the estimated results of the tender for construction of the Argavand-Shirak road section of the Yerevan western bypass road under the Sustainable Urban Development Investment Program Tranche 2 (special operations), as well as the set of bidding documents for the procurement of construction activities at Davtashen-Ashtarak road segment.
The Council next endorsed the terms of reference of the consultants for new public transport route network and Davtashen-Ashtarak, Babajanyan-Ashtarak road construction supervision activities under the Sustainable Urban Development Investment Program Tranche 1.
The Governing Council instructed those responsible to launch the tender process in accordance with the procedures to the Asian Development Bank.
The meeting approved the understanding arrangement on amendments to the construction agreement as signed under the North-South Road Corridor Investment Program Tranche 1 (Artashat-Yerevan-Ashtarak).
In conclusion, the meeting discussed and approved the results of the tender announced for selection of a consultant for land acquisition and resettlement programs and the contract on consulting services under North-South Road Corridor Tranche 3 activities covering Talin-Gyumri and Lanjik- Gyumri road sections.
Prime Minister Abrahamyan urged those responsible to ensure adequate and timely implementation of the proposed activities and gave corresponding instructions.
