PM receives members of National Association of Farmers
Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan received today chairman of the National Association of Farmers (NAF) Roza Tsarukyan and the members of the NAF Board. The meeting discussed a number of issues concerning the current status and development of the sphere of agriculture in Armenia. The interlocutors looked at the prospects of beekeeping, poultry farming, animal husbandry and veterinary medicine, during which various proposals were presented.
The Prime Minister noted the importance of continued cooperation between the Ministry of Agriculture and the NAF and instructed Minister of Agriculture Sergo Karapetyan to take up the proposals under discussion in his ministry.
Hovik Abrahamyan invited the representatives of the NAF to organize professional discussion about the issues raised and submit to the Government specific programs.
