PM Introduces Newly Appointed Armenia Development Fund Executive Director
Chairman of Armenia Development Fund (ADF) Board of Trustees, Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan introduced to the ADF staff Garen Mikirditsian who is the Board-named acting CEO of the Fund.
Thanking outgoing Executive Director Arman Khachatryan for cooperation and tenure-long extensive efforts, the Premier said to have no complaints about his performance and went on to advise that Mr Khachatryan would continue his career in the capacity of Adviser to Prime Minister.
As he introduced Garen Mikirditsian, the Premier pointed out that as young as he was, he had quite long work experience.
“I have introduced my vision and my plans to Garen Mikirditsian such as they should be implemented by the Fund. I am sure that he will make the best possible use of his knowledge and experience to enhance the Fund’s efficiency in order to put into action those arrangements we have made. The ADF has serious work to do ahead, and I am hopeful that we can achieve serious results through joint effort,” the Prime Minister said and wished Garen Mikirditsian fruitful work.
Arman Khachatryan thanked the Prime Minister for the confidence, noting that during his tenure of office, he had tried to invest maximum effort in order to realize the Fund’s goals and objectives. Mr. Khachatryan congratulated Garen Mikirditsian and wished him every success in his future endeavors.
In turn, the newly appointed Executive Director thanked the Prime Minister for trust, and Arman Khachatryan for extensive work. According to him, supported by the Prime Minister, they might set ambitious objectives and meet them through efficacious joint work.
Chaired by the Prime Minister, the Board went on to discuss issues related to Armenia Development Fund’s future projects. Hovik Abrahamyan highlighted the need for effective work aimed at attracting investment, expanding exports and developing tourism. In conclusion, the Premier issued relevant instructions.
