Today the Commission for Coordination of Charitable Programs under RA Government has held a meeting presided at by Mr. V. Movsisyan, Chairman of the Commission.
Discussed were 13 charitable projects, including, in particular: the delivery of medical supplies and equipment to Stepanakert town hospital by the Armenia All-Armenian Fund, the capital repairs of sanitary units at School No. 26 after Armenak Armenakyan in Nork-Marash district of Yerevan, the construction of a boiler-house and a heating unit for secondary school No. 57 and the school of wrestling as situated at Agathangekhos 7a and 7b respectively, the design of gym halls and the fencing of the plots of land adjacent to secondary schools No. 32 and No. 10 in Gyumri.
The following activities will be carried out under other projects approved previously: construction of the 10-20 km-long Azokh-Tsakuri section of Karmir Shuka-Hadruth motorway, purchase and installation of roundabouts for the newly built municipal park of Meghri town, construction of residential houses No. 7b, 8a and 8b in the Triangle district of Spitak town, manufacture of a hundred 3-seat benches to be installed in Kentron district of Yerevan, construction work at the Tavuz-Tsakhkavan-Varagavan road section in Tavush region, building of a gym hall for the secondary school of Hovit village of Shirak region under the sponsorship of the Armenian Caritas charitable NGO.
The meeting has also discussed and approved a number of projects concerning the import of freight and goods destined to different domestic organizations and several sub-projects and contratcs under implementation within the framework of previously approved projects.
