PM Holds Farewell Meeting with Outgoing India Ambassador
Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of India to Armenia Suresh Babu who is completing his diplomatic mission in our country.
Thanking the Ambassador for his tenure-long valuable contribution to the strengthening of the Armenian-Indian friendly relations, the Prime Minister wished him every success in his future activities. Noting that political relations between our two countries are marked with high-level mutual trust and understanding, Hovik Abrahamyan stressed the need for continued efforts toward enhancing economic cooperation.
Thankful for fruitful cooperation, Suresh Babu said to have invested maximum effort to strengthen the existing friendly ties during his term of office. Noting that he was honored to hold office in a friendly country, the Ambassador assured that he will continue to promote bilateral relations as a friend of Armenia’s.
As they summed up the projects implemented in the fields of information technologies, agriculture, culture and healthcare, the parties looked at ways of expanding bilateral and multilateral cooperation. They stressed the importance of continued efforts aimed at boosting economic ties and, in this context, highlighted the need for the Armenian-Indian Intergovernmental Commission to work more vigorously, as well as for holding business forums on a regular basis.
