Prime Minister Receives Iranian Minister of Justice
Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan received Iranian Minister of Justice Mustafa Purmohammadi.
Welcoming the Iranian Minister’s visit, the Prime Minister expressed confidence that it will help upgrade bilateral cooperation in the judicial field. Hovik Abrahamyan said relations between the two countries have been on the rise in recent years as promoted by reciprocated high-level official visits. The Premier underscored that Armenia is keen to develop and deepen comprehensive ties of cooperation with the age-old friendly Iran.
Thankful for a warm welcome, Mr. Purmohammadi said to have had fruitful official meetings during his visit. According to him, Armenia-Iran relations are of strategic importance, and Iran is determined to further expand and deepen bilateral ties. Mr. Purmohammadi praised the role of the Armenian community in the strengthening and furtherance of the deeply rooted friendship that binds the two nations.
As they exchanged views on the Armenian-Iranian joint projects implemented in various spheres, the sides discussed prospects for bilateral and multilateral economic cooperation and reaffirmed their mutual willingness to build on bilateral relations. Touching on regional issues, the interlocutors stressed the importance of ensuring security, safeguarding peace and stability in the region.
