Prime Minister Hands In Graduation Diplomas

Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan attended a ceremonious event, entitled University Graduate -2016, during which graduates were handed Bachelor’s State diplomas. Excellence diplomas were handed in by the Prime Minister himself. Welcoming the guests, Hovik Abrahamyan noted that that the Armenia State Economics University (ASEU) is seeing off a new generation of professionals who are strong with best knowledge and skills.

“You are completing the university education cycle, which is crucial in everyone’s life. I understand that the University has created all the conditions necessary for good organization of a modern-type education, modern environment, amenities for research, upgraded material and technical base, a digital library. I hope this has given its results, and you can leave the University with the necessary knowledge and unforgettable impressions to help you find your place in life,” the Premier said.

Hovik Abrahamyan stressed that educated society is the guarantee of the State’s stability, development and social progress, which has no alternative. It is not accidental that in its program and daily activities the Government has embraced an approach of promoting education with a special focus on accessibility and affordability of education.

“There is no doubt that a competitive State gets so, first of all, through competitive specialists, and in this context, to have an educated generation is very important. For me, as the head of government, especially important is the availability of qualified economists who can put their knowledge at the service of progressive development of our economy,” the Prime Minister stressed and expressed confidence that well-trained specialists will give new impetus to the development of Armenia’s economy and will become responsible citizens to solve the problems facing the country.

In conclusion, Hovik Abrahamyan congratulated all ASEU graduates, wishing them every success.
