Prime Minister Receives IRI Ambassador to Armenia
Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan received IRI Ambassador to Armenia Seyyed Kazem Sajjadi.
The parties discussed issues of Armenian-Iranian cooperation, stressing the importance of further expansion and development of trade and economic ties. The interlocutors touched upon the recently signed visa-free arrangement between the governments of Armenia and Iran.
Ambassador Sajjadi said all Iranian border checkpoints have been notified today that from now on Armenian citizens can travel to Iran without a visa.
Hovik Abrahamyan and Seyyed Kazem Sajjadi expressed confidence that the visa-free regime between the two countries may promote tourism, providing favorable conditions for reciprocated visits between RA and IRI citizens.
