PM Receives NGO Representatives

Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan received representatives of several non-governmental organizations representing the interests of consumers and the Union of Employers of Armenia.

The Prime Minister said that the aim of a meeting held in this format is to understand the expectations Armenia’s citizens, businesses and consumers have from the Government in order to respond promptly and effectively to their concerns and work on the right projects.

The meeting discussed a wide range of issues of interest to the public, consumers and producers. The NGO representatives briefed the Premier on the findings of their own surveys and came up with specific recommendations.

Stressing the need for closer cooperation with society, Karen Karapetyan said the issues raised and the proposals discussed would be reviewed by the departments concerned.
