On a working visit to the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic, Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan joined today Artsakh Defense Army Commander Levon Mnatsakanyan and Head of Government Arayik Harutyunyan to call at an armored unit under central control where they watched the tactical training of tank units.
Then the prime ministers of the two Armenian States visited the military strongholds. Arriving at the frontline, the two heads of government got acquainted with the duty-bound soldiers’ living conditions and the ongoing military position refurbishment activities. The premiers were told that serious steps were being taken at the contact line in order to anticipate and prevent the enemy’s actions.
Prime Minister Karapetyan underscored that the ongoing large-scale improvements are supposed to make safer the service conditions for the staff on combat duty.
The prime ministers took the opportunity to discuss various issues with both the rank-and-file and officers. Karen Karapetyan highlighted the role of soldiers on duty, in particular, and the Army, in general, in ensuring the security of the Armenian people.
