New Year’s Message by Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan
Dear Compatriots.
It so happened that being one of you, I have the opportunity and the honor to felicitate you today on the Holiday Season. I cordially congratulate you and wish that everyone might enjoy lots of warm family feelings, and your homes were filled with light and love.
During these festive days, you will have the opportunity to exchange kind remarks and best wishes with your friends and family members, embrace your children and grandchildren, honor and laud your parents. I do hope that all your wishes may come true without fail.
I also wish you might be back to everyday life after holidays with optimism and renewed enthusiasm to take a share in the construction of our future - the future that we all dream of.
I promise you that the Government, my teammates will spare no effort and will be working day and night to bring to completion as much as possible those initiatives and programs that are necessary for our people. One thing is clear: we will succeed if everyone has the desire, will and optimism to do so.
My dear people,
Difficulties and problems may arise at any time. They are inevitable for all countries and nations. But it does not mean at all that we should be embarrassed, does it? On the contrary, we must defy the challenges, overcome them and move forward. Hard work is awaiting us ahead. Please be assured that we are sincere in our aspirations, and we will fight until the end. Our nation is always fair-minded. For our part, we are open to criticism and advice. We are firmly determined to move ahead day by day and step by step together with you.
My greatest blessing and the best wish is that from the New Year’s Day on we could face the future with more self-confidence and courage. On the New Year’s Eve, I wish everybody immense love and affection, and peace and prosperity – to our country.
Happy New Year and Merry Christmas; may you be blessed with high spirits!
