“We are eager to see you proud of your army service and duty” - PM visits military stronghold
On the occasion of New Year and Christmas holidays, Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan visited a military stronghold located in Army Unit N of the Ministry of Defense. The Prime Minister inspected servicemen’s living conditions, talked to them over issues of topical interest around a tea table.
Karen Karapetyan felicitated the Armenian troops on the upcoming holiday Season and thanked them for honoring their duty. The Prime Minister said the nation is proud of its soldiers who are protecting Armenia’s borders honorably and responsibly. The Head of Government noted that the Armenian soldier has always been the center of the State’s attention.
“Rest assured that we will have a very good country, no matter what are the difficulties and problems faced at this point of time. We are eager to see you proud of your service and duty, for there is no greater satisfaction for a person fond of homeland than the feeling of being the servant of his country. I have managed several large and small companies throughout my work experience. Life used to be easier then, but if I can feel satisfied in this position, if I can live up to my mission I will be honored and pleased, regardless of sleepless nights, hardships and whether I am with your family or not.”
Referring to yesterday’s attempt of subversive penetration across the Armenia-Azerbaijan State border, the Premier noted that the Armenian troops responsible for the stronghold showed heroism and selflessness and defended the country’s borders at the cost of their lives. In the Prime Minister’s words, the self-confidence and determination of our border guards keeps sending positive signals to the public.
Wrapping up his visit to the military stronghold, Karen Karapetyan wished all Armenian soldiers robust health and peaceful service.
