Government Discusses Projects Received from Tavush and Aragatsotni Marzes of Armenia
Chaired by Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan, another meeting was held in the Office of Government to discuss investment program packages received from Tavush and Aragatsotni Marzes of Armenia.
The projects received from Aragatsotni Marz related to the launch of greenhouse and livestock farms, processing of agricultural products, formation of an agricultural machinery repair base, development of tourism infrastructure etc.
Tavush Marz submitted projects regarding the launch of a young tree nursery project, the establishment of a cooperative to deal with wine and oil production, food processing, infrastructure development, herbs collecting, drying and marketing.
The Prime Minister said the government departments should actively co-operate with businesses from the regions in order to discuss all of the previously estimated and economically calculated projects.
“The business projects received from local entrepreneurs should be reviewed and responded as quickly as possible. The projects must be realistic, targeted with specific economic impact, profitability and risk assessment,” Karen Karapetyan pointed out.
The Premier instructed the responsible officers to examine and follow up on the eligible programs.
