Karen Karapetyan: Government Keen to Cooperate with European Business
Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan attended today the annual meeting of the European Business Association (EBA). The event was attended by Head of EU Delegation, Ambassador Peter Switalski, Ambassadors of EU-member States and representatives from EBA-member business entities.
Welcoming the guests, the Prime Minister said his government keen to expand relationship with European businesses. “We are eager to see you safe and secure to invest, provide jobs, pay taxes and make money in Armenia. We stand ready to discuss any problem, initiatives and proposal with you at any platform,” Karen Karapetyan noted, wishing the European Business Association representatives productive work.
Head of EU Delegation to Armenia, Ambassador Peter Switalski thanked the Prime Minister for abiding by open policies and cooperating with the business community.
The Ambassador stressed that the Armenian government has recently adopted a series of decisions aimed at improving the business environment and attracting investment. According to Mr. Switalski, the European Union and the business community are prepared to further develop and deepen cooperation with Armenia.
