PM Gets Acquainted with Natfood Meat Processing Company Activities






Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan visited today Natfood meat processing company. The Head of Government went around the workshops and laboratories, inspected the production process getting acquainted with the range of products, sanitary-hygienic system, as well as with the Company’s development programs.

The Prime Minister was told that in order to ensure the safety and quality control of food products, the workshops, as well as the veterinary, microbiological, physical and chemical laboratories are equipped with state-of-the-art equipment and technologies.

It was noted that Natfood CJSC has a certificate of compliance with the quality management system for food products FSSC 22000, and thereby holds a leading position in the region. The production capacity of the enterprise is up to 40 tons daily, the assortment includes about 160 types of products, the number of employees is 180 people. In the near future the Company will enter the market with a new trademark.

Welcoming Natfood’s activities, Prime Minister Karapetyan highlighted the steps aimed at steady improvement of quality control and expansion of programs.
