Today RA government commission on coordination of charitable programs has met, presided at by commission chairman S. Ter-Simonyan.
The commission examined 12 charitable programs. In particular, it approved a National Fund for Science and High Technologies-implemented program on support of scientific infrastructure in the Republic of Armenia for the period of 2006-2008. The purpose of the program referred to as "Realization of scientific - educational programs," to be carried out in 2006-2008 by "Synopsis for Armenia" charity fund is the repair of classrooms and auditoria in the high schools and secondary schools of Armenia, furnishing of equipment, creation of scientific - educational centers.
According to the program presented by "Medical Aid and Development" international organization (France), work will be carried out to repair the surgical ward of Gavar town hospital.
The meeting similarly approved the program of repair of roofing for the charity center by the Armenia branch office of the Armenian Evangelic Society in Idjevan town, as well as a number of projects to be carried out by "Arshavir and Paitsar Abrahamyans" welfare fund.
The following programs carried out by Hayastan Pan - Armenian Fund were approved: manufacturing, procurement and free installation of equipment for Special Type Children's Home in Yerevan; design and budgeting of a boiler-house for the educational block of the Verin Horatagh village school in Martakert region of the NKR, preparation of 20 video films and 40 press articles for various websites in the frameworks of the awareness raising campaign under "TV Marathon-2006," as well as a program of import of bitumen for the construction of North
