Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan held another meeting with developers’ representatives in the State Committee for Urban Development to discuss urban development agenda.

The Premier was reported about the recent steps taken to address the problems raised by developers’ representatives in the context of urban development, tax administration and program implementation, including infrastructure, water supply, gasification, electricity supply, simplification of tax administration mechanisms and introduction of geo-information systems.

In connection with the problem of infrastructures, it was reported that the government had held discussions with the service providers and was prepared to look for a solution for each specific case in cooperation with the providers and the developers.

Concerning the introduction of geo-information systems, it was noted that the State Committee on Immovable Property Cadastre by the Government had already started working in this direction.

In conclusion, the Prime Minister noted that similar meetings would be held on a regular basis.
