Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan Votes at Polling Station 4/53 in Yerevan
Accompanied by his spouse, Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan voted at polling station 4/53 during the Yerevan Aldermen Council elections.
Answering the journalists’ questions after the vote, the Premier said he had voted for a better Yerevan, adding that he would like to see a modern and flexible system of municipal government in the capital city that could comply with the needs of its residents. Karen Karapetyan stressed that the problems should be solved through better management, more intelligent systems and improved investment climate.
The electoral commission chairman told the Prime Minister that the number of voters was 2000, and over 50 voters had already turned out as of 10:00.
