Government Discusses Doing Business-2017 Action Plan
Chaired by Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan, a meeting was held in the Office of Government to discuss the action plan for improvement of Armenia’s business climate (Doing Business) in 2017.
The meeting specifically discussed as follows: simplification of administrative procedures needed for initiating and running a business project, SME promotion, investor protection, construction permits, as well as continued introduction of electronic systems, lending accessibility, property registration and development of infrastructures.
Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan instructed the Minister of Economic Development and Investment to discus the Doing Business-2017 action plan with the representatives of the business community and international partners in order to finalize it as soon as possible and submit the final version to the Government along with the recommendations of the government agencies concerned.
