Armenian-German Economic Cooperation Development Prospects Discussed
Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan received Executive Director of Eastern Committee of German Economy Michael Harms. The Committee is an organization representing the leading business associations of Germany.
The Prime Minister stressed that Germany is an important partner for Armenia, and our country is keen to develop bilateral relations in different fields of activity. As Karen Karapetyan said, the Armenian government is implementing reforms to improve the business environment, create favorable conditions for foreign investment, and is ready to discuss any mutually beneficial initiative to boost trade and economic ties.
Prioritizing the Government’s undertakings aimed at reforming the business environment, Michael Harms expressed readiness to help deepen bilateral cooperation in the economic sphere by making use of all possible platforms. The interlocutors exchanged views on the prospects for implementing joint projects in energy, mining, agriculture, tourism, infrastructures, etc.
Karen Karapetyan instructed his responsible officers to inform the German side of the package of investment projects and show consistency in providing feedback.
